PERMIT IS FOR TENT ONLY.
PERMIT DOES NOT AUTHORIZE EVENT OR MISC. STRUCTURES. MAY NOT OBSTRUCT FIRE LANE, HANDICAP ACCESS, MANDATORY PARKING, STREET TRAFFIC, RIGHT OF WAY, OR VISIBILITY(VAM).
ALL AIRBORNE DEVICES (FLAGS, PENNANTS, BALLOONS, ETC.) ARE PROHIBITIED. MAY MOUNT ONE BANNER NOT TO EXCEED 48 SQ FT TO TENT.
MUST MAINTAIN 30 FOOT CLEARANCE AROUND TENT IN ALL DIRECTIONS.
FIRE EXTINGUISHER MUST BE PRESENT IN TENT.
ANY/ALL FOOD PROVISIONS WILL BE APPROVED BY THE HEALTH AND FOOD SAFETY DEPARTMENT.
SUBJECT TO APPROVAL BY FIRE MARSHALL AND POLICE DEPARTMENT.

We have received and reviewed the proposed sit e location and documentation for a 20 X 30 temporary tent structure in accordance with ordinances adopted by the City of Frisco. The location and use were found acceptable subject to the following comments.
1. Please contact the Fire Marshal’s Office for inspection.
2. Tent cannot obstruct the fire lane or vehicular traffic flow.
3. If applicable, the generator will need to be placed a minimum of 20 ft from tent.
4. Need to post the occupant load. Occupant load is 20 occupants max.
5. Need (2) exits spaced at equal intervals around the perimeter of the tent.
6. Each exit must be a minimum of 72 inches wide.
7. Need to provide (1) 2A10BC “ABC” fire extinguisher. Extinguisher must be have an inspection tag and mounted in a path of egress.
8. Need to provide “NO SMOKING” sign.
9. No smoking, no open flames and no cooking shall not be permitted.
10. Must meet all the minimum requirements of the International Fire Code and Building Code.
11. Need to obtain a building department inspection.
12. Additional requirements might be required when a site inspection is conducted.
