PERMIT IS FOR TENT SITE ONLY (80X120 AND (3) 20X20).
PERMIT DOES NOT AUTHORIZE EVENT OR MISC. STRUCTURES.
MAY NOT OBSTRUCT FIRE LANE, HANDICAP ACCESS, MANDATORY PARKING, STREET TRAFFIC, RIGHT OF WAY, OR VISIBILITY(VAM).
ALL AIRBORNE DEVICES (FLAGS, PENNANTS, BALLOONS, ETC.) ARE PROHIBITIED PER ORDINANCE 06-10-109.
MAY MOUNT ONE BANNER NOT TO EXCEED 48 SQ FT TO TENT WITHOUT ADDITIONAL PERMIT.
ANY EXTENSION CABLE MUST BE SECURED.
ANY/ALL FOOD PROVISIONS MUST BE APPROVED BY THE HEALTH AND FOOD SAFETY DEPARTMENT AND MAY REQUIRE A TEMPORARY HEALTH PERMIT.
SUBJECT TO APPROVAL BY FIRE MARSHALL AND POLICE DEPARTMENT.
PERMIT VALID 05/14/10 THRU 05/15/10.
1.Please contact the Fire Marshal’s Office for inspection.
2.If applicable, the generator will need to be placed a minimum of 20 ft from tent.
3.Need (4) exits at a minimum of 96” wide spaced at equal intervals around the perimeter of the tent. Illuminated exit signs shall be provided over each required exit with an occupant load of 50 or more.
4.Need to provide (3) 2A10BC “ABC” fire extinguishers for the tent structure.
5.The fire extinguisher shall have a current inspection tag and in service.
6.The fire extinguisher shall be placed in the path of egress and mounted so that its top is not more than 5 feet above the floor.
7.“NO SMOKING” signs shall be posted in the tent.
8.Smoking, open flames or cooking is not permitted under tent structures.
9.Must meet all the minimum requirements of the International Fire Code and Building Code.
10.Need to obtain a building department inspection.
11.Additional requirements might be required when a site inspection is conducted.
