1- May project into the right-of-way but shall be located a minimum of three (3) feet back off a curb of any adjacent street.
2-If a Vertical Projecting Sign is constructed over a sidewalk, a minimum of nine (9) feet shall be provided between the grade of the sidewalk and the lowest portion of the projecting sign.
3-May extend above the tenant’s lease space with approval of the landlord.
4-Support structure from which the projecting panel is suspended is to be decorative in nature and to be made of metal. Supports are to be engineered to withstand local wind loads. Signage panel, lettering and graphics shall be made of wood, synthetic wood or metal.
5.Signage lighting shall be affixed to the building or to the sign and shall be shielded to prevent the light from shining directly into traffic, upper floor windows or pedestrian’s eyes.
6-Background panel may be internally illuminated or made of acrylic, plexiglass or similar plastic sheeting. Individual letters or graphics may be internally illuminated and glow either with a halo illumination effect, or glow through their front face. The use of neon is permitted. No exposed raceways, transformers or conduit are permitted.
7-The height shall not exceed 75% of the overall wall length of wall on which it is erected or a maximum of 25 feet, whichever is less.
8-Sign shall be double-sided. Depth of sign panel shall not exceed fifteen (15) inches including depth of applied letters or graphics. Only one face of the sign shall be used to calculate size.
