NEWMAN VILLAGE - FOUNTAIN:
- BUILDING INSPECTIONS APPLY TO FOUNTAINS.
- LIGHTS MUST BE PROTECTED BY GFCI. EQUIPMENT ELECTRICAL DISCONNECT MUST BE VISIBLE INSIDE EQUIPMENT ROOM.
- APPROVED PERMIT SET OF PLANS TO BE ON JOBSITE AT ALL TIMES.
- A MINIMUM OF FOUR (4) SIGNS MUST BE PLACED AROUND COPING OR FOUNTAIN WALL, STATING "FOUNTAIN - NO SWIMMING - NO DIVING".
- MAIN DRAIN GRATES MUST BE ASME/ANSI A112.19.8 APPROVED, BE HYDRAULICALLY BALANCED, AND MUST HAVE MINIMUM 3' SEPARATION, INSIDE EDGES OF GRATE TO GRATE.
- SUCTION SYSTEMS TO BE PLUMBED ACCORDING TO ENGINEERED PLANS AND DRAWINGS.
- SUCTION SYSTEMS MAY NOT EXCEED APPROVED FLOW RATES (APPROVED GPM OR 1.5 FPS) OF COVERS/GRATES WHEN BOTH PUMPS RUNNING AND WITH ONE COVER/GRATE 100% BLOCKED.
- FOUNTAIN DEPTH CANNOT EXCEED 18".
- CIRCULATION SYSTEMS CONSISTING OF PUMPS, PIPE, FILTERS, AND AUTOMATED CHLORINATORS SHALL BE PROVIDED AND DESIGNED TO MAINTAIN A HEALTHY FOUNTAIN ENVIRONMENT. MUST MAINTAIN STATE MINIMUM STANDARDS FOR WATER QUALITY.
