302. *ALL VERTICAL POSTS ON FENCES OVER FOUR (4) FEET IN HEIGHT SHALL BE GALVANIZED STEEL WITH A MINIMUM 2-3/8 INCH DIAMETER, A MINIMUM FIFTEEN (15) GAUGE THICKNESS, AND SET IN AN EIGHT (8) INCH DIAMETER CONCRETE FOOTING.
303. *FOR FENCES LESS THAN SEVEN (7) FEET IN HEIGHT, POSTS SHALL BE MAXIMUM EIGHT (8) FEET ON CENTER, SET IN A CONCRETE FOOTING OF NO LESS TWENTY-FOUR (24) INCHES DEEP. FOR FENCES SEVEN (7) FEET OR GREATER IN HEIGHT, POSTS SHALL BE SPACED AT A MAXIMUM OF SIX (6) FT ON CENTER, SET IN A CONCRETE FOOTING OF NO LESS THAN THIRTY-SIX (36) INCHES DEEP.
304. THE BOTTOM OF THE FENCE SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED TO PREVENT GROUND TO WOOD CONTACT.
305. *ALL WOOD MATERIAL SHALL BE STAINED, PRESSURE TREATED, PAINTED, OR ADEQUATELY SEALED TO PREVENT DECAY.
