Storm Shelter
Must not encroach on 18 x 20 requirement for parking.
1- All work performed must meet the 2018 IRC standards and abide by the City of Frisco comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, and all other city Ordinances.
2- Safe rooms or shelters should be constructed to FEMA 320 or international code council/national storm shelter association standards ICC-500.
3- Must not encroach on 18 x 20 requirement for parking.
4- Should be a minimum of three feet from property lines and outside of any easements.
5-Distance from the foundation is recommended at a ratio of 1:1, based on the depth of the excavation.
6- Subject to field inspection approval. Call (972) 292-5386 for inspection.
7- Engineer inspection is required when completed.
**ENGINEER INSPECTION IS REQUIRED WHEN COMPLETEDFOR ANY CUTTING OF THE FOUNDATION**
