1- all work performed must meet the 2018 IRC standards and abide by the City of Frisco comprehensive Zoning Ordinance.
2- 5' turning radius required at the approach.
3- 8" depth the first foot in from the lip of the street/alley.
4- If meter within 3' of driveway, need to install bollard.
5- Need a flatwork inspection before the pour.
6- driveway must be the same width from the property line to the curb cut, concrete 3500psi.
Flare Point
1- Flare point to widen driveway must be at or behind property line.
2- Maximum width of driveway from the street to the property line is 24’. Beyond the property line can be up to 34 feet wide, on front entry lots and include a reinforced concrete turn-down for erosion control.
3- Driveway slab shall be a min of 24" from the side yard property line.
4- Subject to field inspection approval. Call (972) 292-5386 for inspection.
5- May not adversely affect drainage of neighboring properties**
6- City of Frisco approval is not in lieu of homeowner association HOA requirements. Reference HOA bylaws for subdivision requirements.
7- Any work done in ROW requires a separate permit from public works.
8- Driveways on corner lots must be reviewed by engineering.
