Storage Shed / Driveway Extension
This permit is issued for the use of a storage shed/accessory structure only. Office space or any other type of businesses is strictly prohibited.
1- All work performed must meet the 2018 IRC standards and abide by the City of Frisco comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, and all other city Ordinances.
2- No plumbing permit requested or issued.
3- May not intrude on side yard setbacks.
4- Must maintain min 10' from house to encroach on rear setback of house.
5- Header height of the structure cannot be greater than 8 ft if backing to an alleyway and cannot encroach any easements.
6- Subject to field inspection approval. Call (972) 292-5386 for inspection.
7- Fiber cement siding may be used to fulfill masonry requirements for an accessory structure of two hundred (200) square feet or less.
8- Metal or wood may be used as an exterior construction material for an accessory structure of one hundred twenty (120) square feet or less.
9- City of Frisco approval is not in lieu of homeowner association HOA requirements. Reference HOA bylaws for subdivision requirements.
10- Must be a minimum of 3 ft from any side property line and 3 ft from rear property line with an alley or green space.
Driveway
2- 5' turning radius required at the approach.
3- 8" depth the first foot in from the lip of the street/alley.
4- If meter within 3' of driveway, need to install bollard.
5- Need a flatwork inspection before the pour.
6- driveway must be the same width from the property line to the curb cut, concrete 3500psi
11- Please verify if you are adding a slab or dropping on the ground. If adding a slab, please give details on the rebar used to depth of the concrete.
