1. I met with the contractor and their will be a small portion of about 8' to 10' removed from the existing roof for attachment.
2. Contractor shall use 1/2" x 4 1/2" carriage bolts for this attachment of rafters.
3. This framing method shall be left open for inspection---a re-roof inspection is req'd. for the existing gable roof.
4. All work shall comply with the 2006 IRC.
5. All work shall be field verified and tested.
